Learn more about integrations. I often have problems reading AVI files with my TV's DVD player if they are not DivX or Xvid (e.g., DX50 is not readable). I'd like to make a fast script to determine the video codec of these files before burning them to CD-ROM or DVD. Ffmpeg -i file.avi prints the 'container' of the video stream (mpeg4, mpeg2, etc), not the codec.

The RivaTuner Statistics Server (part of MSI Afterburner) has a compatibility issue with recent Windows 10 updates. It may cause some games and video players to crash.

To fix the problem, update RTSS to version 7.2.3 (or newer). Or open RTSS properties, and on 'General' tab scroll down and click 'Reset cache' under 'Injection properties'. Or set the RTSS application profile for the MPC-HC executable to Application Detection Level: None.
